Transit
Transit is an artist book, realized
as the outcome of a commission
by Liverpool Capital of Culture's
project called Cities on the Edge,
to represent five cities visually.
It deals with the inability of the
photographer to create a
representation of a city in a
given period, thus he can only
create a journey diary, suggesting
more would be dishonesty.
The photographs from five cities
of the project are juxtaposed in the
map-like artist book, to under-stroke
their similarities and differences.
1000 copies were printed and distributed
for free as the only available mode for
the exhibition of the work.
